The Barns dedicated top rope area has seven top ropes and up to 45 routes. Routes on this wall start at French 2, accommodating the absolute beginner and young children. Our lead wall is 9. 5 meters high, but in the steepest section the actual length of climbs are up to 14 meters. Winter ascents are much rarer than in summer, with most parties taking 2 or 3 days to complete the route. As a result there are few records of speed ascents during winter however in February 2016 Finlay Wild and Tim Gomersall made a traverse .
